It was the day of his birthday celebration. Usually, the preparation starts with us doing grocery in the morning, tapos magluluto kami, we wait for visitors and kakain na. After several pictures of him were shown, nag-iba ang video. Puro text... parang message. Pero not from one brother to another. Then I get it. And my mind went blank. I see letters, I see words, but I barely understood any of it.
I looked at him. Made a face (a failed attempt to lighten things up). Ngumiti lang siya. Then I looked and watched again. I may not remember exactly what he said but I know it was the sweetest thing... and I couldn't stop smiling.
